Meet Tripp, our tiny but mighty fighter born 27 weeks premature and weighing only 2lbs 2oz. He has battled through respiratory issues and NEC (necrotizing entercolitis) resulting in him losing over 90% of his small intestines, leaving him with ultra-short bowel syndrome. After 6 months in the hospital, we are preparing to finally bring Tripp home. Once we get home Tripp will still require continuous care from us as well as a home health nurse to assist with his weekly dressing changes on his broviac, and lab work.
