The Hollands are a family of 5 that loves each other and loves Jesus even more.
We are just like you, we love hard, play hard and fight with the best of them. Opening up about our faith is not something I ever imagined I’d be doing one day, but here I am, scars and all.
Our family lives in a small town outside of Houston. We have a very full schedule with our careers, kids’ sports, and school activities but we wouldn’t change it for the world!
Behind The Blog
Hi there! My name is Kim and I’m an introverted extrovert. I LOVE America’s Funniest Home Videos, I struggle with time management…err being late…everywhere. I used to think I had most of my life together and then 3 kids happened. I’m learning to embrace the struggles of life and recognize them as life lessons from God. I’ve never considered myself a ‘creative’ person because I cannot draw for the life of me and I have terrible penmanship.
What I always considered a hobby, writing and creating things, God was actually showing me that this is how I connect with others. Why not do what I love and do some of God’s work. After closing our sign-making business, in 2019, I didn’t know if I would ever share our life and creative side with the world again. God had other plans for my life when He had us close our company. He needed to carve out some room in our life for MORE of Him.
Through this journey, I’m inviting you to experience our highs and lows and the ever so mundane in-between moments. I hope that through my journey you see God guiding and teaching us to prepare us for what’s ahead.
God sometimes has a funny way of showing us how badly we need His love and guidance. He does not want us only to use our strength in this life, He created us to rely on Him. I have struggled time and time again while trying to do everything on my own, then by His grace, he has shown me His way.
